Market Research & Questionnaire

Our Group did some primary research in the form of a questionnaire. We asked 10 questions to the rest of our media class to gain an understanding of what people like/don't like about films.

The pictures show the questions we asked and what people answered.

Graph I created to show the results.

From our research we were able to find out that most people would watch a film about a kidnapping. We also found that people rarely go to the cinema, as they find it is expensive, but if they do go, it's usually on a Wednesday. This is because there is a special offer on, on a Wednesday. It was also positive to find that many people enjoy watching films about romance, so our film, which shows how love can become a dangerous obsession will hopefully interest many people. The key thing we found is that the first scene needs to be the most exciting. By building up the tension toward the kidnapping at the end of the opening titles, we hope to keep the audience interested.
